I think there are a lot of women and men that could really benefit from the advice she gives in this book. Yes this is an older book but I find that it is now even MORE relevant today than it was when originally written! My favorite part was the last chapter, in which she describes that you can be your own hero; you do not need anyone else to be that for you.Good Advice: She admonishes mothers who only compliment their daughters’ prettiness, telling them to focus on children’s talents, strengths, and character instead.
