Description

From a flying panda to a rainbow unicorn, discover 12 incredible creatures you'll love to cuddle and play with. As soon as they hatch, all of them will need your attention.

Fantasy Friends – Under the Sea takes place in a gorgeous fantasy ocean where anything is possible, or at least that’s what they promise… With the help of Aurea, the magic mermaid (instead of fairy), you will care for twelve adorable new pet friends! Take care of them and make sure you give them all the love they need. If you do, your pets will grow up and play with you! Collect hundreds of colours and skins for your pets and challenge your friends to see who will have the most unique creatures. Be the first to find the rarest ones. Even though the mini-games were better, some toys were really pointless. For example, with one toy, you just swing it around your pet’s face, and this is considered one of the “games.” There is barely any actual interaction with the pet except for your pet showing excitement in the same manner every few seconds. These kinds of cheap animations and gameplay are things I would expect from a free-to-play game from the App store, not a fully paid console game. Pros: Explore the plaza, add decorations, get new magical sea creatures, buy them new clothes or even cooler toys to play with, and decorate the plaza with incredible fun items! Decorate the forest in your own style with beautiful buildings, plants, and magical objects! Some of them may suprise you.

Fantasy Friends: Under the Sea News

The more you care for them, keeping them happy and healthy, the more mana you will earn. Use your mana to get new creatures, buy them new clothes or even cooler toys to play with, and decorate the forest with incredible fun items! The whole setting reminded me of Viva Pinata under the Sea like they released this game in the Little Mermaid universe or something. While the first one felt like an abomination from hell, the second one feels a bit more polished. The whole sea theme is well done and the waiting times I hated in the first entry are shortened (which makes the game more paced). To give you some purpose ingame, Fantasy Friends has a time-consuming care system. The more you care for them, keeping them happy and healthy, the more mana you will earn. Use your mana to get new creatures, buy them new clothes or even cooler toys to play with, and decorate the forest with incredible fun items! Or, that’s what the game tells you – it takes ages to gather mana, which results in boredom while waiting for the bars to drop so that you can feed or rewash your animals.

The whole setting reminded me of Viva Pinata. A game I absolutely adored on the old Microsoft systems, which needs a reboot (I know you read this Microsoft, and no, the Fortnite Party Pinata is not good enough). Sadly, the whole set felt like an abomination from hell, combining the said game with features from Nintendogs and the likes while adding some horror-aspects which even my little girl (age range this game is targeted at) could not care for. Fantasy Friends is a magical virtual pet game for young children; available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. Gameplay: You’re able to create a new home for this fantasy friend, but first, you need to name them. Her first friend was Candy, and initially, you can feed, pet and groom the animal, paying attention to the gauges on-screen that with the pet’s status, i.e. whether they’re hungry or bored, etc. Each time we load the game, the animals go all puppy-eyed as if we’ve forgotten about them; their gauges looking bleak. However, the sheer satisfaction of watching my daughter learning her responsibilities, albeit fun ones, was brilliant – especially as she had so much fun with things us older gamers would overlook. Decorate the forest in your own style with beautiful buildings, plants, and magical objects! Some of them may surprise you.The currency of the game is mana, and that is achieved through your actions. In other words, pay good and regular attention to your fantasy friends, and you’ll be rewarded accordingly. This goes full circle because as soon as you get more mana, you’re either buying more eggs (pets) or gifts for the animals. Our version is called Candy. Source: Nintendo Ever keen to take new talent under my wing, my daughter (the same one from the first Fantasy Friendsreview) was the chief appraiser of the game but didn’t (couldn’t) want to write a review. Once again, I make no hesitation in saying this was solely for my her, still four, and that’s the market you should be looking at. Unless you genuinely want Sebastian as your bestie. If you were wondering about features, yes, Fantasy Friends has features! From a flying panda to a rainbow unicorn, discover 12 incredible creatures you’ll love to cuddle and play with. As soon as they hatch, all of them will need your attention. You start with some basic creatures, which will evolve into monsters of horror after you care enough for them (Horror-volve into abominations, horror-volve, just for you; insert Digimon theme here). Fantasy Friends takes place in a gorgeous fantasy forest where anything is possible! With the help of Aurea, the magic fairy, you will care for 12 adorable new pet friends! Take care of them and make sure you give them all the love they need. If you do, your pets will grow up and play with you!

Fantasy Friends Under The Seais quite slow-moving, but that’s due to the type of player that will lap this up. There are no game overs or storylines – simply take care of your new found friends and ensure they’re content. As I said for the first game, this teaches children how to be consistent and take responsibility – yes, yes, it’s a game, but the fundamental parts are encouraging, and I saw a difference with her attention to our dog when she played the first game. Billy-No-Mates From a cute dogfish to a surprising axolotl, discover 12 incredible aquatic creatures you will love to cuddle and play with. Each animal needs a specific food you will have to produce. Welcome to Fantasy Friends, a world of magic and fantasy where you're responsible for taking care of fantastic creatures!First up, the reviewer of this title from Xaloc Studiosand Just For Games, is predominantly my three year old, but she left the writing to me. Sitting on my lap while I occasionally helped with the analogue controls, she’s been switching between this and Astro’s Playroomfor about a week now and loves it.

Explore the plaza, add decorations, get new magical sea creatures, buy them new clothes or even cooler toys to play with, and decorate the plaza with incredible fun items. Enjoy the tropical seas but do not forget to breathe… You are still underwater! So yes, 100% not a game for me – not even to experiment with it, but my youngest loves it and while the older one poo-pooed it a bit as a Tamagotchi title, she secretly wanted to play and was mildly hooked for 45 minutes – attempting to cause havoc for the younger one by spending her mana. Be the first to find the rarest ones! Despite my gaming roots, playing and writing about video games every single day, I don’t want my kids on the screen every five minutes. Already she asks for Fantasy Friendsor Astro’s Playroomdaily, and that’s not an option. World (interactive) map. Source: Nintendo Fantasy Friends is your typical virtual pet game that felt like a cheap version of Nintendogs or Talking Tom Cat minus the talking and the fun features. Players have to feed, wash, and play with their furry friends. There are 12 different animals you can collect as well as different skins and accessories. Players can also decorate their forest, though there isn’t really anything else to do in the forest. Fantasy Friends: Under the Sea is the newest opus in the Fantasy Friends series. Discover a brand-new submarine world, with lots of surprises, and 12 new adorable underwater friends to take care of! It’s essentially a Tamagotchi-type game which would work equally well on mobile too with its touch-like commands. The purpose of the game is to build a world of pets/friends, with ice cream trees and glittering streams – it’s everything a little girl could want, and more so that I could return to Bloodborne.
