Heretics and Heroes by Thomas Cahill Summary and reviews of Heretics and Heroes by Thomas Cahill
The Arbalest and Crusader are clad in heavy armor, while the Flagellant and Occultist have symbolism revolving around blood. All of these travelers have an above average health pool. Also possibly a reference to the FromSoftware video game series, Armored Core.Once again, Cahill leans into religion as a key aspect of the development of the Western world - for good and bad. He's one historian who includes the development of Christianity and Judaism as the foundation of Western history, with only a few mostly well-deserved swipes. I don't agree completely with some of his religious views, but overall you can tell that he takes faith seriously, and I appreciate that.
