Shannon like the river: I’ve already said that I love this girl so much, but reading about her character development was one of the highlights of this year. She’s a really fragile person, with traumas and all, but the thing I admire the most about her is her strength. She’s truly resilient. I love how she coped with everything that was thrown on her way. And regardless all the bad things happened to her, she never stopped loving and taking care of her loved ones. As I said earlier, I like the fact that the author gave more space to her family because I got fond of Ollie, Tadhg and little Sean. I already loved Joey but this book made me fall in love with him a little more. At first, I wasn't sure of reading his book, but now I can’t wait. I’m so curious to hear his thoughts by his pov. I love Shan’s family with all my heart (minus her parents).
