While it’s part of her series and includes snippets of characters from previous books, Bittersweet is slightly darker, with more drama and angst as we follow Lola and Ben trying to make their own footprints in the world. I listened to this on audiobook book and it was great and I loved how they had a male and a female narrator from the different perspective and the male narrator was incredible, and the female. I adore when the FMC gets to be fun and girly — and then finally finds someone who adores her too for it. Bittersweet by Morgan Elizabeth} - liked how protective the MMC was but … he was a little too over the top alpha.
