The longevity and projection are far superior an easy 8 hours with 5 sprays and I refuse to spray more. I do note however that this isn’t a beast performer, and neither are the six other Guerlains I have - this is French-style, not Middle Eastern. From the woody notes of L’Homme Idéal to the powerful scents of Guerlain Homme, men’s fragrance is made original and iconic. Seeing most reviews below saying that this has poor longevity and sillage makes me think that my bottle, bought Spring 2023, is from a perfect batch since I get 10+ hours.I drink lots of water, I even tried the scent free lotion trick so I doubt it's that skin chemistry nonsense. As the scent progresses, the amaretto accord stays through, with some additional backbone provided by a woody note (cedar) and a very faint and slightly sour leather accord which give some more legs to this scent - on me it lasts around 5/6 hours, not the best performance in class. The vanilla gives the cherry and almond a creaminess which is just infection, whilst the spice and citrus round it nicely and it only gets better as it dries. This is a stunning perfume, and even thought it hurt to spend that amount of money for a 50ml bottle; I’m still quite happy with my purchase. A good candidate for a signature scent, could be worn all year around, in formal settings or informal gatherings, at a date night, at office, whatever.

I would only rate a scent with a "zero" if it really stinks or if it contains plain water in the flask. Not likely as the profile for my nose is close enough to EDP and I already have an almost finished small bottle and an unopened big one for that.I even bought a 100ml back-up bottle of this, l'Instant de Guerlain EdP, l'Homme EdP and l'Homme Ideal Extreme.

The main complaints towards the EDT come from those die hard Guerlain lovers who much prefer Habit Rouge, Heritage, and Vetiver. It's still here 7+ hours later, but after initial projection only I know it's there if I bury my nose. The bottle retains its original form, colored in a soft amber shade with the logo letters in bright orange. I know we can wear what we like, there are no genders in perfumes or right ages but this is a 30+ one, winter-fall. I wish I had got the bottle with the matte black finish on the sides but regardless of that the scent is really nice.I thought maybe I got a fake one but package and bottle is exactly the same like the extreme even the sticker and black cap are the same . on my skin i probably get near 5 of very good projection hours (about 3 feet) and another 3 hours of intimate projection. This definitely comes off with a strong Smokey/woody/nutty vibe on the top note and more drys down into a licorice/cherry type sweetness.
