From flipped tables to thrown tiki torches, from Atlanta to Beverly Hills, this is the definitive story of the Real Housewives. According to Lisa Rinna, producers told the ladies something along the lines of, "Okay, we're going to have a party at Kyle's and we're just going to invite everybody and we're going to bring out all the O. Notably, this is when the infamous conversation about the show's "queen bee" supposedly kicked off, though the cameras weren't rolling. Even with some key former wives missing (I particularly missed Bethenny and NeNe), this is a pretty comprehensive and really fun walk down memory lane.

When presented the opportunity to pick up something important or to take a deep dive further into my trash addiction, I will most likely always choose the latter . But keep in mind that this makes it more like government-mandated propaganda versus a true tell-all. This is an astonishing feat in reality tv, and both the viewer and reader LONGS to know more about how the decision to include these pivotal scenes were included. The ones who decorate for the holidays as soon as the clock strikes midnight on November 1st and then scream things like this at their family until the New Year . Nearly all the wives, producers, and network executives, as well as Andy Cohen himself, are on the record, unfiltered and unvarnished about what it really takes to have a tagline. I wish they had a camera because this girl got out of the car, went over to Eric, and flipped out on him . it’s cool for rinna to speak on others, but when someone insinuates her marriage isn’t what it seems, she gets violent (speaking of that; excuses are made for her, while the person who made the insinuation is immediately discredited. some women are relentlessly criticized and just outright trashed, while other women who have done the same things or worse are barely even spoken about.

the women also continue to spin the tale of “denise was shaming and vilifying us for talking about sex, even though she always talked about sex” when that was very clearly not what happened at all. like it’s just some fun game, and not someone’s personal fucking business that has nothing to do with you. Third and finally, I love the bits we get from Andy Cohen, but I think his comments on RHODC ending were either untruthful or did not seem truthful.

This book isn’t going to win a Pulitzer (it’s not Sweet Valley High for heavens sake) but if you like the Real Housewives franchisees- it is delicious! and don’t think i didn’t notice how the producer’s treatment of denise (and fourth wall breaking) isn’t mentioned at all, but they made sure to turn their nose up at denise’s “unprofessionalism” and the “bravo bravo bravo” comments.

Sonja Morgan insisted that the cameras didn't even catch all of the craziness, most of which she attributed to Kelly Killoren Bensimon. A previous attempt at this by our dear Brian Moylan got blacklisted and those involved with bravo were told to not do interviews for his book. The main issue seems to be that Bravo had final say-so in what was said, but I ask you – why in the hell wouldn’t they do whatever they could to protect their cash cow?Told in interview format, it rehashes some of the most memorable events city by city from the OC to Potomac. I'm not mad that I read it, but they didn't really dive too far into the juicy details that fans really want to know about. For the first time, the Real Housewives go on the record with the incredible story of the juggernaut franchise. He lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his boyfriend, their elderly dog, and the only thing worth putting in his will: a ginormous TV. All these archetypes started appearing for me, and I had an idea to do a short film that was kind of a send-up of life in affluent suburbia; something tongue-in-cheek and a little parodistic.

I remember seeing their son Shane one day, he must have been about seven years old, just standing at my door. Scott Dunlop came in wearing white leather loafers—which in New York stood out—and talked about this gated community that he lives in and the antics that were going on. It was the only time during the whole run where I ever felt like I was going to get punched," Andy said in Not All Diamonds and Rosé. However, Lea apparently had a stipulation in her contract that prevented anyone from talking about her husband's clients, which included the charity. This book was clearly a mouthpiece for Cohen, and his bitchy little digs at women are getting tiring. According to numerous EPs, Vicki just didn't have much of a storyline left, thus the reduced role in season 14. The “Tennis Bitches” would always go out for cocktails and gossip, and while we were filming, Kimberly made this great backhanded comment about how her husband isn’t in as good shape as the others’ husbands because all he does is work. Things only got worse as the season progressed, resulting in an "epic meltdown backstage" at the reunion.
