About this deal

It seems to be as good quality as other similar formula products on the market and it should last longer as the scoop is smaller for the same ratio of powder to water. The new range doesn’t include pull ups just yet so we’ve been trying out the nappies instead, and spoiler alert - we’ve loved them!

Mamia, known in Spanish as cuajada, and in English as 'Basque sheep's curd dessert' (the typical horrible translation found on menus here), is nothing more and nothing less than sheep's milk, heated and curdled with rennet, then served with the local bounty of the earth: honey and walnuts. Considering that reusable nappies are meant to reduce single use plastics, it was a little disappointing that the nappies came wrapped in non-recyclable film. Katie R: If I could change one thing about these nappies it would be making them slightly softer, particularly at the gusset area at the edges. I used pampers to start with (needed size 0 which mamia don't do) and half way through using size 1 switched from pampers to mamia and I haven't looked back.Aldi Mamia New Born Nappies claim to “keep your newborn comfortable and dry whilst your baby adjusts to its new surroundings”. I think just a little tweaking with the design of the container and spoon would make a mums life easier. Julian: I am happy that these nappies are comfortable for delicate skin and the elasticated legs and skirt trim offer protection from leaks. We’ve spent the last week in Prague and it was my first trip abroad solo with Ru, so it’s safe to say I was dreading it a little.

But nappy change after nappy change, day after day, the Mamia Ultra Dry were performing as well as any other nappies I’ve ever used. So sign up for your free pack now and discover all the great benefits of Mamia nappies for yourself. I’m always up for cutting back here, there and everywhere to make ends meet a little easier, but I never thought I’d be scrimping on nappies.

Just whatever is going really so long as it's the right stage we've been lucky that our two children (who were both breastfed mainly) took what was going. The wetness indicator will give me much more peace of mind knowing that when he's poorly I can just check it to make sure he isn't completely dry! It seems he can't tolerate regular milk and the higher level of lactose so we're back on the comfort milk until he's totally weaned off it.
