About this deal

So many people have so much to say about this perfume; which should be a marker of something special! There is a strong, sweet orange blossom note here too, tropical and syrupy, paving the way to the huge floral heart. This is REALLY good news if you like this fragrance — you are truly getting more bang, nay, more atomic bomb blast for your buck.

Out of all the notes listed I get Jasmine,Tuberose, Mimosa, Gardenia and Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and some peach. I imagine a beautiful woman with a sunny and carefree disposition wearing this as she strolls casually through town while sporting a flowy summer dress and large floppy sun hat, skin warmed gently by the sun’s rays while enjoying the moment and all that the world has to offer her.

A beautiful young woman in a long diaphanous white wedding gown and cathedral length veil marries a handsome man under the tree. Very strong the first 15 min then it settles into a smooth, creamy jasmine and gardenia scent that lasts forever.

The smell from the bouquet on the table mixes with the powdery make up compacts that are all over the table. I tried to disassociate the scent from the bathroom vibe and when I focused on the individual notes I began to recognize and on our list here, it began to be a new experience. It’s also MUCH stronger (like, a pure parfum) than the one I received in its box, also due to evaporation/concentration, and I didn’t even realize until I smelled the “new” bottle that my old vintage, though still gorgeous, has a distinctly stale aged smell to it. Now when I read what I suspect Gen-X reviews and some YT "influencer" just out of kindergarten talking about grandma's poo, it makes me a bit sad. This is my signature scent, since the 90s, I was 14 and my Mother bought a bottle and when I sprayed it I was hooked and stole her bottle. However soon it turns quite soapy and sharp and it is just bit too much for me and this sharpness reminds me of 90s era perfumes like Tresor and Poeme. This is very strong at first and can almost give you a migraine or make you dizzy, however it’s a pretty white floral and the dry down is beautiful and something woman can wear, I mean it’s not a Pink Sugar teenage scent but it’s not an strictly 80 year old scent either. When I think of Amarige , I imagine a luscious bouquet of flowers standing on a classy vanity table. If I had to choose a favorite between the two, the older one would win, although I love the newer one too.
