The nipper’s purpose is to reduce the stress on the plastic as much as possible and produce clean cuts that might suffice for most people, however perfectionists like me will still need to reach for an xacto knife and (wet) sandpaper. Hold it up to the light and gradually tighten the grub screw until no more light is visible between the nipper's jaws. This preserves the live of the GodHand, reduces stress marks and makes cleanup a hell of a lot easier.
