I was not expecting to be able to read very much of this to my daughter, but I was surprisingly wrong. My 3-year-old daughter, who has been obsessed with jellyfish lately, absolutely loved exploring the large colorful pages. Through humorous and engaging illustrations, this book teaches young readers the value of self-acceptance and celebrates the beauty of being different.

I’ve had the German ‘Quallen’ by Thomas Heeger (2004) for years, and that used to be the only comprehensive scientific monograph on the subject: someone should translate that in English.
