I'll be honest I used to look down on Armani Mania for a very long time, because it doesn't have much character, not even that unique.Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. Finally it got my attention and as the review below says is a fragrance to enjoy and make you feel good, I think is sort of underrated as well, but I can tell it lacks a little bit the uniqueness that makes you identify it right away and sets its name in your memory. It wasn't a loud fragrance by any means, nor did it last long on the skin, but I still loved it and I still miss it. I did borrow a spritz of (you won’t believe ) Juicy Contour from a gf I liked the Way it smelled but if it worked for me- I’m unsure. Mania evokes images of virginal luxury cars, a modern gentleman in a suit an tie, a very new office suite. The thing with Mania is you get the amber and moss in the drydown but it still stays fresh with the cedar and vetiver in the mid notes. I'll say give this a try, because it smells great and unique, and you still might get a great projection/longevity from this fragrance because everyone's skin reacts differently to one scent.

When you spray it, the first thing you're going to smell is the alcohol, but just for few seconds, and then it's a wonderful saffron-cedar with a little spice smell, it's just gorgeous. As I marked Le Male as a BAD fragrance, later that fragrance surprised me a lot when winter comes here.
