Aber auch hier haben mir ein paar Details gefehlt, ein wenig Hintergrundwissen hätte ich mir hier ebenfalls gewünscht. Es gibt die klassischen Middle Grade Elemente, aber es ist eindeutig eins der besten Bücher in der Altersklasse, die ich gelesen habe. It's hard to say why I enjoyed this book so much, the characters were all great and interesting to read about (i've read a few books recently where i couldn't connect at all with any of the characters, so this was really refreshing! Allgemein fehlen in diesem Buch die hilfreichen Erklärungen und Details, auch bei einem Jugendbuch kann man erwarten, dass das Buch eine gewisse Tiefe vorweisen kann.

So if adults want to get young gamers reading this is the book to go for, and the good news is this is the first in a series so has the potential to really hook readers in! Lux and Nox were hilarious characters, their banter added humor to the story, while their opposite personalities added flavor. They find themselves in a race against time to reach Stella where her Grandparents live, and seek help before the rise of the Blood Moon when all hope may well be lost …Oh my goodness!Die Charaktere fand ich sehr gut ausgearbeitet, da diese sich im Laufe des Geschehens immer weiterentwickeln, an ihre Grenzen kommen und darüber hinauswachsen. Die Erzählerin ist die 12-jährige Mia, die in Nubis aufwächst, eine Stadt, die seit ein Übergriff vom König des Finsternis vor mehreren Jahren im Dunkeln liegt. Die Idee einer Stadt, die komplett in Dunkelheit liegt, und Wesen aus Schatten, die den Menschen im Kampf zur Seite stehen, fand ich total cool.
