The Hang-On Breeding Box provides isolated housing for protecting fry, sick/weak fish or new fish that require acclimatising to the aquarium. The Ista hang on back breeding box is intended to hang on the back of the aquarium, therefore not occupying space in the aquarium. I also think it's probably one of the single best "HoB Blank canvas" devices in the hobby and it's something I wish had a modern version made out of new materials that worked a bit better and fixed issues.The multi functional Fluval Hang-On Breeding Box easily attaches to the side of most aquariums up to 26mm thick. Pond plants are sent directly from our supplier to make sure the plants you receive are fresh and in great condition. Items are packed with secure packing material and heat, cold, or Cryo packs as needed to maintain safe temperatures during transit. When using for breeding fish, there is a removable section so that the mother fish stays in the top section, and the baby fry fall to the bottom section to keep them separate to prevent fish eating the fry.
