Otherwise, if you have a laptop for live performances you’re connecting to, the IE 100 PRO Wireless is a super simple solution through Bluetooth effectively bypassing the sound guy. The purse is a bit small and rather thin, so the headphones need to be handled carefully even when inside the purse. The cleaning tool and extra earpieces do not really fit in the purse. They are comfortable to wear. The over-the-ear cable routing does not cause me any trouble when wearing glasses. They replace a pair of beyerdynamic DTX-101iE and DTX-71iE in-ear headphones (which both suffer from worn cables after years of use).Overall I think that the IE Pro BT connector works well, with seemingly no loss to sound quality or additional latency. Additionally, its lightweight design is very nice since, unlike similar devices, it doesn’t feel as though it’s trying to rip IEMs from my ears. I will comment, though, that at 10 hours the battery life is fairly short. It’ll easily last through a day of commuting, but for travelling it may not even make it through a whole flight. Also, the max volume you get from the IEMs when using the IE Pro BT Connector isn’t that high, so if you like to do some loud listening, you may be left wanting. All of the IE 100 Pro’s wireless features come from the IE Pro BT Connector, which is a new accessory from Sennheiser designed to make any IEM from their IE Pro series wireless over bluetooth. All these I consider to be fairly neutral (as opposed to e.g. a Sony MDR V6 / MDR 7506 which is nice, but not neutral). With the default rubber ear pieces, they do not drown out exterior noise that well (but one is free to use the silicone alternatives instead). if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; andOnce fitted with the correct ear adapter, the IE 100 PRO are a really comfortable fit that provided quite a bit of separation from the outside world whilst not feeling too ‘closed in’. They present a reasonably balanced non-fatiguing sound and I enjoyed listening to some of my favorite well-recorded music through them. Swapping between the wired and Bluetooth cables is a simple matter of disconnecting and reconnecting them and you can even do it when the phones are in your ears if you’re are particularly dexterous. Many IEMs I’ve used were very effective on stage, but pretty horrible for generalist use, so it was nice to hear that the IE 100 PROs are also excellent as a day-to-day listening device. Connected to a Sennheiser wireless system, the ‘phones were effective as IEMs, shutting out just enough of the outside world whilst providing a clear undistorted feed that should enable a singer to hear themselves above the din. The fit was surprisingly good on my lugs, and the over-the-ear design means you won’t lose them on a wig-out on the encore. The bass on the IE 100 Pro is warm, with a focus on the low to midbass frequencies. Whilst the region under 50hz unfortunately doesn’t have as much depth and sub bass presence as I would like to have heard, the bass response on the IE 100 Pro remains prominent by virtue of the emphasized 60hz-140hz frequencies.
