About this deal

If neither candy nor creamy vanilla is to your liking, and you enjoy a bit of musk and wood, might I recommend the sadly little-discussed Calvin Klein Reveal (for Women)? Completely unisex in my opinion, Reveal doesn't actually boast vanilla as a note in its olfactory pyramid but the vanilla vibe is definitely there, albeit subtly. Reveal is first and foremost a modern salt fragrance with major nuances of soft musk, sandalwood, ambergris, and a non-powdery iris. Just to keep things interesting, there's a prominent pepper note hovering at the edges and so Reveal is anything but the typical vanilla - instead, let's call it an alternative gourmand vanilla. The fragrance is not quite a powerhouse and wears more like a second skin with good longevity but quiet sillage. So those who prefer a little subtle sweetness, Reveal might be a pleasant surprise. Which Vanilla fragrances do you feel deserve the title "best in show"? Which ones would you suggest to vanilla haters? This will help you find out how long it lasts and whether it’s the perfect scent for your taste. Perfumes that Smell Like Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace The most 'beloved' vanilla seems to be Tahitian (which is narcotically sweet and flowery) and the most brutal ones are Vanille Mexique and Givree d Antilles. Out of which the last is best adorn by me myself.

Shalimar edt by Guerlain: simply one of the best vanillas I've ever tried. Classy, elegant, grown up, quintessentialy tasteful. It's powdery, ambery, oriental with a sensual trail. Perfectly blended with some citruses on the top and then becoming soft and smoky. Can't get enough of it, divine. Released in the 2000s, this Vanilla Lace body spray by Victoria’s Secret is classified as a soft, creamy, and powdery fragrance mist that offers a refreshing feminine touch.Henry Rose, Dark is Night is the best vanilla from this house. Rich and full bodied. A grown-up vanilla that is fully unisex and quite sexy. Torn from this house is also nice. A floral vanilla w/ a touch of praline. Torn is more of a vanilla lover perfume. On the other hand, some really don't enjoy vanilla based fragrances; over the years I have encountered people who found vanilla-sweet fragrances to be cheap, annoying or simply not working with their body chemistry when vanilla had the leading role. The illusion of burnt sugar and cotton candy is the culprit for the "bad reputation"; notes we have witnessed to become very popular in the sugary sweet offer of the last decade. SDV is the best, hands down, but unfortunately the longevity is just not there. Couvent if you can still find it is a dupe. There is a whole House dedicated to vanilla - La maison de La Vanille which offers an entire line of approaches to vanilla for both haters and lovers. The fragrance is perfect for women aged 26 to 55, and the most suitable time to put it on is during casual meet-ups with your friends, or after intense workout sessions or impromptu meetings with your clients. Where Should You Wear It?

I've always love vanilla fragrances.. before the gourmand explosion was on trend I remember always get complimented for my sweet/foody/slightly androginous scents.. my favourites were and are..Serge Luten Un Bois Vanille is super woody, but not as woody as Derek Lam Something Wild, which is just too too woody for me.
