About this deal

Video Disclaimer: Screen captures used in the review are from the standard Blu-ray from the Criterion Collection edition, not the 4K UHD Blu-ray disc. Audio Format(s): English Dolby Atmos, English 2.0 Mono DTS-HD MA, French 1.0 Mono Dolby Digital, German 1.0 Mono Dolby Digital, Italian, Spanish (Castilian) 1.0 Mono Dolby Digital, Chinese 2.0 Dolby Digital (Special Edition only), Spanish (Latin American) 2.0 Dolby Digital, Czech 5.1 Dolby Digital JJ Bona on So Close | Blu-ray (88 Films) The actually do both (one with, one without) on some of their US/UK releases. Both the original 1973 Theatrical Cut and 1998 Special Edition Cut, with additional footage and alternate audio, have been remastered in glorious 4K UHD.

All that was mentioned was the cine edition was likely to sell out before release date that's not until September (There is 3 months still to go before release date) Selected items are only available for delivery via the Royal Mail 48® service and other items are available for delivery using this service for a charge. Documentaries: Blood and Steel: The Making of Enter the Dragon, The Curse of the Dragon, and Bruce Lee: In His Own Words Flesh Tones: Skin tones are natural and consistent from start to finish. From any reasonable distance in the frame one can see clear as day facial texture and details with ease. The Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc includes both the theatrical version of the film and the Special Edition of the film which features three additional minutes of footage. The movie was made before any type of HD existed so the best things will get come from the original tapes/film.....Everything else will contain some type of enhanced sound and picture, which is okay if that is what you like. The theatrical cut is a leaner experience that I think I prefer, but I never had much of a problem with the special edition so I wouldn't be too upset if that's all we got (compared to say The Exorcist or Amadeus where I'd personally hope for the theatrical cut. Amadeus has been rumoured to go to Criterion for years now so if that pans out I'd be quite confident about it being the theatrical cut, if not both cuts). Notable upside to them potentially siding with the theatrical cut could be the greater chance of having the original legacy audio mix included, though it's not always a guarantee with Warner. It would be nice having the Saul Bass logo at the head of the film too. Enter The Dragon was resubmitted and classified at 18 for video in 2001, with all previous cuts (both to violence and weapons) fully restored. Enter the DragonUltra HD Blu-ray disc and Digital the following previously released special features:

In 2004, the United StatesLibrary of Congressselected the film for preservation in theNational Film Registryfor being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." In 1999, Bruce Lee was listed in Time magazine’s “100 most influential people of the century.” Height: From above, nothing too fancy aside from crafting some room ambiance and giving a hand here or there to some effects or parts of the score in the film This release includes the Theatrical Version of the film as well as the Special Edition which includes three additional minutes of footage - both in 4K HDR on separate discs. Digital copies are also included. The following previously released features are included:Andrew Hernandez on So Close | Blu-ray (88 Films) Agh! Why does it have to be Region B only!? Enter the Dragon has recently been released in a Bruce Lee Criterion collection set with the star’s other famous films, including The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon, Game of Death and a posthumous Bruceploitation movie, Game of Death II. The other films in the box set had been remastered with a 4K restoration, however, Enter the Dragon was only displayed in 2K, possibly so Warner Bros. could release their own upgraded version. The set also featured a bevy of special features, including vintage trailers, alternate scenes, rare interviews and mini-docs. The laserdisc is a great choice as it was the best available at the time, but you need a laserdisc player, as well as the ability to connect via its older connections to your system/TV. Color Reproduction: Colors pop a bit better here in this new 4K transfer. Yellows, blues, greens and reds all look vibrant when on a fabric worn by a character or the forest/grass appearing onscreen. HDR comes in handy moreso with fire or a neon display or two early in the movie.
