This production is certainly not for the faint-hearted. Heathers The Musical carries a very similar tone to the film, albeit with an added layer of music. At its core, this is a very dark comedy, as poignant now as the film was upon release. HEATHER CHANDLER – (17) The richest, hottest, cruelest girl in town. The cast is led by Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer, who is set to continue the role as the show transfers into the West End. Carrie Hope Fletcher joined the cast fresh from winning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her stint as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (UK Tour). Carrie previously played Éponine in Les Misérables in the West End for three years. She has also released her debut album When The Curtain Falls. A Heathers: the Musical DVD and special edition Blu-Ray will be released on June 5, alongside a digital release.

Based on the 1989 cult classic film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, this rebellious, award-winning production follows Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, whose dreams of popularity finally start to come true when she’s taken under the wings of the three beautiful, yet impossibly cruel Heathers. But when mysterious new kid, teen rebel J.D arrives in town, Veronica realises that whilst it might kill to be a nobody, it’s murder being a somebody…GIRL 1: NEW WAVE GIRL – (16-18) She wants her MTV and dresses accordingly. UK exclusive special features include a Sing-Along Version (Blu-Ray exclusive), film poster, behind the scenes at The Other Palace and cast & crew extended interviews.

Variety reports that each screening will be followed by a bonus 10-minute special, "Behind the Scenes at The Other Palace," which features a look behind the musical being filmed that the London venue for its original 2022 release on The Roku Channel.
