After two hours or overnight, remove the lid and place it into another container or jar with fresh vegetables to eat as is or use in recipes such as dal bathes (Indian lentil soup) or aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato curry). Flavors and preferences will vary here, but for the most part, you'll want to start off with pouring in some vinegar. Yes, this is great! Indeed, somebody has done it with a food vacuum sealer, and this is a method for if you don't have access to one, or want to experiment with air pressure on your own. Besides, life wouldn't exist ('not as we know it, Jim') anywhere in the universe if space was a vacuum. I personally don't buy it. OH SNAP!’s Dilly Bites are the snappiest, crunchiest, crispiest little nuggets of fresh cucumbery goodness you could ask for. Fruit or vegetable (I like plums, grapes, and pears for the former; onions and cabbage for the latter, but feel free to experiment.)
