That the quickest path to lifting our spirits is to look out for others and lighten someone else's burdens. As I have said before when I have reviewed these types of books, I wouldn't say I am a great lover of poetry, in fact I am much nearer the opposite side of the scale.

Donna Ashworth – Donna Ashworth

To The Woman is the second book from History Will Remember author, and social media wordsmith, Donna Ashworth. Some are not necessarily poetry as I would imagine it so much but still resonated and felt they belonged in this collection. Donna has an incredible gift of posting beautiful words which touch your heart at exactly the right time you need them. The beauty of poetry as audiobooks for me is that the author reads it, the artist expressing the art which makes it an experience!

Inspiring, uplifting… these oft-used words aren’t enough to describe the depth of feeling and understanding these poems provide. It is soothing, human and compassionate, and yet somehow aids that progression through the darker days of grief. The general theme is how perfect we are already - don’t change; embrace ourselves and realise how powerful we are. Share the love you felt for that person with all the other special people in your life, for it is limitless.
